Your project is of great interest to me. I am the first Zairian and Black Principal (Prefet de l'Athenee d'Ibanda)of this wonderful institute (1970-1973). I only left the High School to pursue a Ph.D. in Educational Administration at SUNY Buffalo, NY as a Fulbright grantee. I graduated in 1982, worked as an Assistant Principal/Assistant Superintendent at Hopevale Union Free School Didtrict in Hamburg, NY From 1977 to 1986. I returned to Zaire in 1986, opened four private schools in Kinshasa and Kikwit, Kwilu (1988-1997). Left in March 1997 for US, as a Visiting Scholar in Community-based education research at the University at Buffalo, NY. I started teaching French to survive at the University as a Lecturer. This went on for 15 years. I retired in 2010 and would love to assist you in any way I can to expand education at The Institute of Ibanda. I love that school and the kids. Education is my passion and the most important way to free Congolese from fear and poverty, to help them their own values, rights and potential, democracy, free market and etc... You can count on me: I am free and ready to rock. Didier Musindu Kanya-Ngambi, 140 Woodell Avenue, Cheektowaga, NY 14211-2737. Phone # 716-381-5703 (landphone), 716-200-9775 (cellphone); emails: <didingambi@gmail.com>, <matondoy@buffalo.edu>. The Ibanda Institute needs all the help it can get. Thank you for wanting to help! It is so sad that I saw you message only today, June 06, 2012.
